Greetings.

I have recently been searching HVAC Forums to obtain due to a
mismatched (?), Heat Pump system we had installed ~3 yrs ago.

I've come to find out that "rules of thumb" are only guidelines. Our house now has a HP and ductwork system that previously had only a gas wall furnace.

I would REALLY like to have a Manual J performed with the possibility of the Manual D to complete matters.

I should have most if not all important house numbers, avg and record temps, compass orientation and geographic placement.

I did try to download Manual J from HVAC-Talk.com. Read the tutorials.
Come to find out, the program is PC and I have a Mac.

I also have a close to scale drawn footprint of the house on an 11x17 paper for making and taking notes. Especially if the Manual D is also done.

I await your reply

Regards

Hi Regis,

I am sorry that you are going through the mismatch issue. I can help. I can take care of the load calc for you in Manual J and Manual D. I use the Manual J 8th Edition. It is the Residential Suite program by Wrightsoft approved by ACCA and of course ASHRAE. I am certified in diagnostic and air balancing. I have over 19 years in the trade.

That would be great. There is no PM feature on the site. And you do not have an email address in your profile.
How can we hook up to talk of the particulars?

This is the sample drawing of our house. I also wrote some notes about size, windows, insulation, compass orientation. I also have yearly average temps with record high and low. [/img]

I don't see a Transaction/Feedback forum as of yet so I'll say my peace here.

I had the manual J and D performed by Mr. D. Pearson. His work was timely, precise and easy to read. Also included was info on the heating and cooling unit as installed to further help with the end result. He contacted me with needed missing info. No guessing, here. It was money well spent.

I recommend his work.
