I am interested in installing a horizontal gas furnace with a split system ac in a small shop (2850 sq.ft. on concrete slab, etc.). When I mention load calcualtions with Manual J to hvac contractors in the area they just look at me with a blank stare. They will install what they "feel" is the right system unless I tell them something different. If anyone is willing to help me with a load calculation please say so. I will email or post all the relative parameters you require for the calculation.
Thanks in advance. |

Hey barefoot,
I can probably help you out. Depending on what part of the country you are in, for light commercial in which your shop would fall under, you may need a load calc with Manual N besides Manual J and Manual D. I can provide a load calc for you thru the new software program from Wrightsoft Unerversal. It has the capabilities of residential/ light commercial applications.
I have info at http://home.earthlink.net/~dpearson21/ |
